Q: How did you come up with the idea for this website?
A: When I was a junior in high school, my English class read The Crucible by Arthur Miller. We were then required to create some sort of tribute to those who had suffered as a result of the Trials. Initially, this project began on Blogger (www.blogger.com). A year later, I came across a service that allowed the user to create a website for free, known as Weebly (www.weebly.com). I was so inspired by the events that I decided to expand my project and continue working on it through college.
Q: Do you write the biographies yourself? Or are they from other sources?
A: I find biographical facts (birth date, marriages, children) through search engines and apply those facts to my own writing style. Anything that is directly from another web page is credited. Please be assured that this website is tested for plagiarism on a regular basis.
Q: Have you ever been to Salem?
A: Yes! I made my first trip to Salem August 2010. I was inspired by that trip to create the section of this website on Salem Today.
